I’m using Novella Theme and the AESOP Story Engine and currently facing a strange behavior when trying to add additional css classes to a AESOP block (e.g. AESOP Parallax or Quote) … I find the text-field for adding classes in wordpress and can enter and save them. However, when I reload the page (admin-view), the text-field is empty again (in front-end there is no additional class added as well).
I’ve tried to do the same thing with regular wordpress-blocks and there it works… classes are saved and I can work with them later via custom css.
Does somebody of you have faced a similar problem before and has an idea what I can do?
Hi Werner, there should not be sometihng you need to set up. But hard to address your issues when I can’t reproduce your problem. Would it be possible for you to give me an access to your site? Again, you can reply me privately or write to me directly at hyunsupul at gmail.com.
Hi Werner, I see the issue with the extra class and I currently have no idea why. (The issue doesn’t happen when I try this on my server.) But I was able to reproduce the video issue on my server using the video you are using. So let me try to address that first. Allow me some time.
I am still looking into the issues, but try ver 2.1.1. It restores the “Controls” setting and defaults it to on. With this you should be able to show the controls on your video at least. I know there are other issues you want me to look at. I was just quite occupied past few days so allow me some time to address your other questions on ASE and Novella.
