    Hi,

If I name chapter One ‘Introduction’ and subtitle ‘In which the fun begins’, in Kerouac the header will read ‘1 Introduction In which the fun begins’.

Seven chapters on and I have a chapters header that’s a page long.

    Could you please:
    1) make it so that the Kerouac header doesn’t display subtitles in the header and
    2) make the header collapsible (request already submitted I know)

    Thanks!

Could you share a link to the issue at hand?

By the way, we will be releasing 1.4 this week, and we have completely redone the chapter component.

    Fantastic,
    I’ll be waiting for it!
I love how this plugin is developing.

    As for the example:
At https://storyfall.nl/interreg/?p=8 you can see a page in Kerouac with Chapter titles and subtitles in the heading. As you can see, the titles and subtitles are lumped together quite bluntly, without a dash or a slash or anything in italics or whatever. It just reads ‘Welkom Joep Brouwers’ without distinction between title and subtitle.

I’d prefer to have the option of omitting subtitles in the heading altogether, OR to have them in a different format (tho you’re probably going to tell me that I can accomplish that through Custom CSS….)

Also, the header should collapse when not needed. Third time I said that, I’ll stop now 🙂

    Hey Boris,

After 1.4 is released this week, let’s check on these few problems. Testing locally, I don’t have the title and subtitle issue that you are having with our new release. Only the title shows up. One suggestion that I have in the meantime is to use a “-” before the subtitle.

Hi Boris. To add to this, I think Michael’s suggestion to add a “-” before the subtitle is right on, especially since the subtitle cannot be hidden from the chapter menu with CSS (I just checked).
