ParticipantHello! I follow all of the instructions when I try to insert a gallery into a page or a post, but every time I view the gallery it says “This gallery is empty! It’s also possible that you have the wrong gallery ID.” I know that I’m using the correct gallery ID and I know that the gallery is not empty. I don’t quite understand what I’m doing wrong.

KeymasterHi Sarah. Please be sure you are using the latest version of Aesop Story Engine (version 1.2). In the newest version you select the gallery from a dropdown box directly within the Aesop component editor.

ParticipantI have poblems with the gallerys. Using “stacked” they dont realy show up. Images are loading very slow or not at all. Lots of white spaces. No parallax-effect either. See here:
http://wunder-welt-reisen.de/2014/10/31/inka-kult-und-fauler-zauber-auf-dem-hexenmarkt-von-la-paz/
Using “sequenced”, images are often broken. See here:
And editing the gallerys is not very efficient. Droping the images in generats lots of HTML so you have to edit the gallery code such as “[gallery a_type="sequence" ids="251,252,253,254,255,256"]” manually.
Greetings

KeymasterHi Andreas. The images in your first post actually look perfect – I don’t see any issues there.
In the second link (the sequenced images), the URLs do not have a source image. For all of them, the img source URL is simple a < . I advise editing the gallery and checking that the source URLs are correct. Be sure you have the latest version of Aesop (1.2.1) as the gallery is easily editable now. Even inserting a gallery into a page has been simplified (just select from a dropdown box). Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Jenny.
Well still does not work. Images in the gallery “stacked” are not loaded or loaded very late. So there are blanc spaces. If the images are loaded there is no parallax effect. The images are just stacked under another.
See here: https://wunder-welt-reisen.de/2014/10/31/inka-kult-und-fauler-zauber-auf-dem-hexenmarkt-von-la-paz/
I have the latest version of Aesop (1.2.1).
Another thing: I tried http://www.wunder-welt-reisen.de with Internet Explorer and that looks horrible. The Theme doesnt seem to work with IE.

ParticipantMe again. I found out it works fine in Firefox but the described symptoms are visible in Chrome. And as I said, IE is a big mess. You must fix yout themes to work in all browsers. Its useless if it only looks good in Firefox.
I can provider Screenshots if you need them.
