If I set up a gallery using the method you describe, and then I add additional graphics to my media library, but not in the gallery, the additional items show up in the gallery. You can see on this page, https://skytribe.com/gregg-lauer-art/, in the gallery thumbnails, there’s also my business logo (Lauer Creative), which shouldn’t be there. I uploaded it to the library, after I uploaded the art images, but did not include it in the gallery. thx, Gregg
KeymasterA few things here. First, if you “view source” in FireFox, it shows all HTML errors in bold red text. It’s a great way to see if it’s HTML code messing up your site.
Upon doing so, I was able to see that this text has a stray end span tag that is also creating a stray end div tag. Please view this text in HTML mode to ensure everything starts/ends properly:
By day I’m also a web-graphic-mulimedia designer. Please visit my design business website: </span><strong>LauerCreative.com</strong> and don’t hesitate to contact me for design, video and web design questions or a free consultation on your project.<span style="color: #444444;">
Next, can you edit the gallery post itself to ensure that the logo image is not included there?
Also, if you have any plugins active that have anything to do with galleries, please disable those to see if it corrects the issue. In addition, be sure to disable any caching plugins that may be active.
Let me know if this helps. Also feel free to post a screenshot here of the gallery post’s HTML as well as the story post’s HTML (where the gallery shortcode is inserted).
KeymasterPlease let me know if you still need help with this otherwise I’ll mark it as resolved in a few days. Thanks!
