    Hi,

    Well, I thought I had done sufficient homework on this, and have edited many portions of the Novella theme in custom css. But I can’t seem to hide the author line. Here’s the code I’m using:

    .novella-post-author .media-heading small {
    display: none;
    }

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks, folks.

    Todd, I used the following CSS to successfully hide author names in posts and in post collections. The “display: none” is the only new part of that code.

    .novella-entry .novella-entry-mast .novella-entry-author {
        color: #FFF;
        display: block;
        font-family: Lato,sans-serif;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        font-weight: 700;
        text-shadow: 0px 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4);
        display: none; /*this parameter is not in the original Novella CSS*/
    }

    .novella-collection-item .novella-entry-author {
        color: #FFF;
        display: block;
        font-family: Lato,sans-serif;
        text-transform: uppercase;
        font-weight: 700;
        text-shadow: 0px 1px 1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4);
        display: none; /*this parameter is not in the original Novella CSS*/
    }

    Todd, what UCONN shared works.

    It can be pasted into the Simple Custom CSS plugin, and simplified to:

    .novella-entry .novella-entry-mast .novella-entry-author {
      display: none;
    }

    .novella-collection-item .novella-entry-author {
      display: none;
    }
