ParticipantWhen I activate Aesop Lazy Load in-line images don’t display. Instead, a cross placeholder is displayed. If you click on this, then the image is displayed in a lightbox. When the lightbox is closed, the user is returned to the front page, not the article.
I tried other, free, lazy load plugins, and they seemed to screw the Aesop galleries up.
Therefore, I’m relying on you to fix this.
Only other thought – does your plugin conflict with W3 Total Cache? The inline images seem to display ok with Page, Browser and Database Caching turned on. But they disappear when I turn on your Lazy Load plugin.

KeymasterIs your version of Aesop Story Engine and Aesop Lazy Loader up to date? ASE is 1.5 and Lazy Loader is on 1.1.1. And no the plugin will not conflict with W3 Total Cache in any way at all. The lazy loader plugin is merely calling jQuery Unveil, and nothing more.

KeymasterI haven’t been able to reproduce this issue Alastair. Does it only happen on Android?

KeymasterDo you have the latest version of Aesop Story Engine?
March 11, 2015 at 11:51 am #7356Hyun Supul
KeymasterAlso, would you mind posting a link that I can see the images not loading on? I haven’t see one during your back and forth with Michael so far.

KeymasterThe plugin works. We use this same plugin, code for code on Story.AM. Can you please post a link to a public URL with the issue on it so that I can diagnose what the issue is?

KeymasterIf this was the case we’d have numerous reports on Story.AM. But we haven’t had any. I just re-vamped this plugin and I can assure you they work as expected. I’m unable to help without a public URL, and really can’t do much if the plugin isnt’ activated.
Can you reactivate the plugin and show me a URL that I can diagnose the issue with?

KeymasterAesop Lazy Loader is on version 2.0. You have the old version installed. This is my fault because in my original response I noted that the latest was 1.1.1. My apologies. Head to your account area here, install the new version, and you’ll be set.

KeymasterLet us know how everything goes.
For some reason my response to you last week on March 4th didn’t come through as I thought it did. So, once again, very sorry for this inconvenience and lack of communication.

ParticipantOK, that seems to be working. Thanks for your help.
