    Is there a way to set a max-width on the start page? I use a large image separated in six parts, one for each story. Below 1200px the images are placed nicely in position but above 1200px they start scaling away.
    This looks good
    But this looks wierd
    Any idea how to solve this?

    My guess is that each image is slightly different in width than the other.

    You could use a plugin like Simple Custom CSS to customize your CSS (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/).

    Within Chrome, or other browsers, you can use the CSS inspector, which is not too difficult to use and will make finding the CSS classes that you’ll need when you want to change the design. Here’s a great in-depth article about this: https://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/developertools/part1

    You can try background-size:contain instead of background-size:cover in Novella.

    Let me know if that helps.

    To add to this, you can try using this section of code and possibly setting your max-width value (be sure to use the plugin Michael recommended above for your CSS):

    /* Default settings for homepage grid */
    .novella-collection-item {
        min-height: 300px;
        width: 100%;

    Love the idea though! Would like to see it in action when you’re done.
