Hi, I have just purchased the Story Front, but it is not working as I anticipated. Does the Story Front have to display a Page rather than a Post? There are significant differences between the two (no static header, no story footer and no full width components for example), so I would rather have my Post as the static front page and not a post. Is this possible?

Hi Mark. Thanks for your post.

You can view the how-to document for Aesop Story Front at https://aesopstoryengine.com/help/aesop-story-front/. All of the information you need should be there. 🙂

    Hope that helps!

Thanks, I see where I was going wrong. I have come up with another problem however. The Block Style Cover Options are not available on Pages and what I have defined in my story Post are not feeding through. You can see at https://www.theanarchystate.uk/latest-story/ that the Post title of “Devolution” is showing, however I had used the Block Style options on the Post to add “The Anarchy State”. Is there a way these selections can be made to feed through too?

Actually, the Block Style Cover Options have appeared on the Page so ignore my previous message! However, I have used the same settings as my Post (Max Font Size: 350 and Max Title Width: 300px) but the title is appearing huge and not like it did before the Post was put in the Story Front. Do you know why this is doing this and is there a way I can correct it?

Hi Mark. Sorry for the delay! I was out having wisdom teeth pulled. 🙁

Did you select the same option (the block setting)? If you can link me to a couple pages to compare, I can take a look. I tried the link above but it was a 404.

Hi Jenny. Sorry to hear about the wisdom teeth, hope they’re better now! Don’t worry about this query, we are not using the Story Front at the moment. Thanks, Mark

They are much better now, thank you! And okay – I will mark this as resolved.
