    I’ve read: https://aesopstories.com/themes/content-first/

    Wouldn’t it / couldn’t it be possible to just “rewrap” the div that wraps the content. Let me try to explain…

    => Let’s stay I start with this and do not have an ASE “stuff” yet.
    <div class=”container content-wrap”>

    the_content

    </div>

    => Now let’s presume ASE knows that this is what wraps my content: <div class=”container content-wrap”>

    => Now let’s say I add an ASE quote (pseudo code) and just reinstate (?) the wrap.

    <div class=”container content-wrap”>

    the_content

    </div>
    <div class =”ase-quote”>

    </div>
    <div class=”container content-wrap”>

    </div>

    In other words the opening tag for the quote is: </div>. And the last tag is: <div class=”container content-wrap”>.

    Is that not possible?

    Mind you, I’m just now really trying to dig into ASE so it could just be my ignorance, but if I have (let’s say) a 2 col layout w/ a spy scroll on the left, and the main body on the right, as ASE is today, I’m not sure how I’d do that. At least with the open / close approach above, I think I might be able to swing it somehow. Maybe?

    Maybe I shouldn’t have said this out loud? Yet?

    Hey Mark,
    Really apologize for the delay in response here. It’s not normal for us at all, by any means.

    Regarding your question, I think I follow, and that’s exactly what we’re doing here. 😉 Its essentially breaking, then re-forming the content div on only the paragraph tag. Since then we’ve got a better method but largely similar.

    Hey Mark,

    Like Nick said, yea, that’s what is happening in ASE, but it’s getter more refined every day. If you have any more issues do let us know. And when you finish creating a story, be sure to share it with us over on Twitter.

    I think I wasn’t clear. That said, I think I can do what I’m talking about – if I wanted to – by using the filters. That is, the before_componest would “close” the (Bootstrap) container; ASE could do it’s own full-width lovely; the after_component would re-start the container. Keep in mind the container wrap the content column, and as long as it’s there, the full width ASE stuff won’t be able to go full width. I was just proposing this be part of an ASE config. Maybe?

    Regardless, I faked my Bootstrap 2 column with some js in order to conform to “content first”. Works really cool. I should be able to let you have a peep soon. Getting come feedback from the masters would be very nice.

    Thanks again guy.
