    Hi,

I’m trying to use a static page as the front page, something it says the theme supports in the customization section. However, no content I put in above mentioned page shows up, as long as it’s selected as the front page. If I remove it as front page, the content shows.

It also has the text “by Admin” beneath the page title “Home”. As this is not a post with an author in that sense, I wish to remove it. Where do I find the settings/code to tweak that permits me to do this?

Grateful for a speedy reply, as the project I’m working on is on a bit of a deadline.
    Thanks!

    Hey Karin!
It’s Sunday so you probably wont get a response from Jenny until tomorrow, but since you’re on a deadline I can help you out. I just took a look at Novella, and it seems there’s a very minor bug here.

While you wait for an update, delete the file in the theme that says front-page.php. WordPress keeps trying to pull from that file but it’s identical to the archive file. This should have zero effect on your setup.

Let me know how you go about once you delete this file.

That seems to have done the trick! Thank you ever so much for the speedy weekend help 🙂 You can mark this as resolved.

No problem! Enjoy the theme and let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you!
