    Hello,

    The Zealot theme has a little text box over each image in the Story Stream on my home page. These text boxes aren’t showing up in full. They are cut off on the left side and top. You can see this behavior here:

    https://storyhouracademy.com/

    The same feature works just fine on the category pages across my site, such as these:
    https://storyhouracademy.com/category/phonics-video-lessons/
    https://storyhouracademy.com/category/read-aloud/

    How can I get these text boxes over the images on the homepage displaying properly?

    Thank you!

    Sally

    Hi Sally,
    Not quite sure why this was set like that. But you should be able to fix it by using following custom CSS code (using Simple Custom CSS plugin or similar) Let me know if you have further issues or have a trouble adding this code.

    .aesop-collecion-grid, .aesop-story-collection .aesop-collection-item {
    overflow:visible;
    }

    Hi Hyun,

    Thank you for the suggestion.

    It fixed the top edge of the text box over images on my homepage. However, the left edge of the text box over images is still not displaying. Any idea how to get that to display.

    Here is how it looks now:

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Hyun,

    The custom CSS code you recommended did not fix the text boxes all the way. Can you recommend another solution?

    You can see on the homepage that the left side of the box is getting cut off -> https://storyhouracademy.com/

    Also, if you click “load more stories” on a page like https://storyhouracademy.com/category/phonics-video-lessons/ then the loaded stories have the cut off text boxes, too.

    Hi Hyun,

    I actually figured it out. There was a missing t in the code. The following code fixed things right up:

    .aesop-collection-grid, .aesop-story-collection .aesop-collection-item {
    overflow:visible;
    }

    Hi Sally, sorry about the initial issue. A new version of Zealot (1.2) has been released which address this issue with built in CSS. Thank you.

    Hyun – I’ve noticed that the code fixes the category text box on the front page, however it still exists on the individual post pages. I tested and found that it isn’t displaying correctly in Chrome and Safari, though it is in Firefox (all latest versions). Could you recommend the change necessary to resolve?

    Here’s the page I was testing with: https://chrisplough.com/cps-40th-ploughshare-birthday/

    Hi Chris,
    Try adding the following CSS code

    article {
    overflow: visible;
    }

    I will try to address this in a future release.

    Hi Hyun,

    I have the same text box issue as Chris, which you can see here: https://storyhouracademy.com/learn-to-read-with-phonics-videos/

    The browser I’m looking at is Chrome on Mac.

    I tried adding the following CSS, but it had no effect.

    article {
    overflow: visible;
    }

    Any other suggestions?

    Hi please try the following (same as the code given before but with !important)

    article {
    overflow: visible !important;
    }

    Okay, I tried this one just now and it didn’t work.

    article {
    overflow: visible !important;
    }

    Other ideas?

    It’s not working on Chrome on a Mac. It’s not a huge deal, but would be nice if fixable.

    Hi Hyun,

    Yes, you are right. It is working now for me, too. Thank you!
