ParticipantI just purchased the lazy loader plugin, and it did not work on an existing aesop gallery.
URL: auntyjoyce.com
I’ve even tried applying the class “aesop-lazy-img” to the images via a snippet, but that’s not working also.
Can you advise why this would not be working ?

ParticipantAs a results of adding the Lazy loader plugin to my aesop installation on the latest version of wordpress, the images stopped appearing when I tried to create a new gallery.
I’ve turned all other plugins off other than aesop & the lazy loader.
I’m using a theme called Longform: https://cohhe.com/project-view/longform/

KeymasterHi I will look into the issue but may take a little while. Sorry about the problem and thank you for your patience. Make sure your Aesop Story Engine is up to date (1.6.12) There has been a compatibility issue with Longform recently.

ParticipantHi, Just confirming that I’ve updated to the latest version of Aesop Story Engine (1.6.12), and the plugin still does not work.

KeymasterHi I am not the original author of the plugin. But looking at the codes, Aesop Lazy Loader is enabled only when using Sequence Gallery or Image component and when you are NOT logged in to the website. I don’t know why the original author of ASE and the plugin wrote it that way. Perhaps the author thought lazy loading looks distracting with other gallery types. If you want I can make updates so the plugin works for the Grid Gallery as well.

ParticipantHi Hyun, yes please. The plugin says it works with ANY image within the aesop story engine, so this is deceiving.
Can you estimate how long this would take to update ?
Kind Regards,

KeymasterHi Pauline, I sent you an email. If you are okay with the change I will add that to our next release.

ParticipantThe lasy loading is working, but it has changed the styling of the gallery – making the images overlap eachother, and ignoring the height of each image. The image widths/columns are ok.
Can you look into this please ?

KeymasterHi Pauline please try the latest fix I sent you. That should work with custom grid width. The fix doesn’t implement true lazy loading with Grid Gallery, but should improve the looks. I will be away from home for two weeks but will get back to implement true lazy loading when I get back. Thank you for your patience and I apologize about the issues.
