The Map Component has been upgraded to allow custom map tiles from Mapbox. This new option can be found in the Theme Customizer, under Aesop Story Engine. It’s super easy to setup, and we’ve got step by step docs to show you how! In addition to custom tiles, you now have the ability to set a default zoom level for the maps component.

This update also includes numerous bug fixes for Firefox, as well as image component bug fixes. If you’re interested you can checkout the changelog on WordPress here.

  1. I was actually just testing this today and couldn’t seem to get the map to show up in a post. Are there any known issues with the custom tiles on ASE 1.0.3 in WordPress v 3.9? I’m getting a blank screen on Chrome v 34.0.1847.116.

I tried entering both 43°30’13.5″N (lat) 16°24’30.8″E (long) and 43.503741 (lat) 16.408541 (long) without any success. The former triggers “Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL” for Leaflet and the latter triggers “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘lat’ of null”. Was wondering if there were troubleshooting steps I could take? Thanks!
