thanks for getting back to me, and sorry for my delayed reply.
That does make sense, but is still a little confusing. Maybe colour option for individual quote blocks could be “greyed-out” in some way, to make it clear the setting was being overridden.
Or, have checkboxes for the highlight colour option specifying exactly what is overridden.
I’ve noticed issues with the text/background colour settings for the Quote block not properly being saved, too.
I’ve got the latest versions of both Novella and the Story Engine plugin installed.
thanks for getting back to me, and sorry for my late reply.
I will try the latest Story Engine update.
It’s a shame about the wrapping. I had several requests from users for wrappable “sidebar”-type elements. Is that something that might be added later?
“READ MORE:” seems to have gone from the bottom of the page, too, which is good.

The links are a little bit pushed up against the top of the page, and the lightbox overlay seems a bit more opaque than the demo pages on your site.
I also can’t see the “Top” link now.January 29, 2019 at 12:21 pm in reply to: Novella Chapter / Panorama Overlay Text Invisible Over Dark Background Image #19538
Ah, OK. I may also create some custom CSS classes for different background image types.
Thanks for the quick response, once again.January 29, 2019 at 11:58 am in reply to: Novella Chapter / Panorama Overlay Text Invisible Over Dark Background Image #19536
I realise getting text to work over any possible background image is a difficult problem.
An option to set the colour of the overlaid text would help tremendously.
I can’t get the details of the server (php version etc.), at the moment, unfortunately.
Thanks very much for the rapid reply, Hyun!
Additionally, a “READ MORE:” link is present at the bottom of the post, even when there is nothing more to read.
I guess this is a related issue.
